If you want to expand on why you object, you are more than welcome. We have a little guide for some key points here.
Broke Hill is the most important piece of Green Belt land in this area.
It is the Green Lung for local people and for visitors from all the London Boroughs.
It is stopping the built-up area of the London Borough of Bromley from encroaching on Sevenoaks District and in particular the villages of Halstead, Knockholt and Badgers Mount.
Everyone wants to see people housed according to their needs BUT not on Broke Hill. This Green Belt is necessary for everyone who wants to walk and enjoy the countryside for their health and well-being.
The Public footpaths across Broke hill are the first areas of countryside that students doing the Duke of Edinburgh Award have ever seen as they come from Tower Hamlets, Southwark Wandsworth and other London Boroughs. Walking on tarmacked footpaths through hundreds of houses will not be the great experience they get at the moment, seeing, deer, fox, orchids and numerous varieties of birds.
